More work lost for another god damn Org Chart meeting!  So much for the free-wheeling world of Business!  This rat’s nest makes AIT look like a lean and  hungry wolf.  If we threw every useless CT middle manager into the ocean we could reclaim half the east coast.  Progress Report meeting!  Half day of ass-scratching to make sure there isn’t too much Progress to Report, self-important administrators who don’t know what a Potter Node is, anxious technocrats who don’t understand this all has to make money, bean counters who don’t understand that it won’t if the product sucks, and worst of all the sales department, who keeps selling things we haven’t built because it’s easier to get the client to go for them then what we can actually deliver.

Never thought I’d discover that corporations don’t give a damn about MONEY.  Research lab, every damn minute of every damn day is focused at producing grant-winning results.  Here they just watch the clock tick down on their stock options. 

And then they knock off at 5, six hours before J & K & the rest of the research crew will even think of going home, and they ask us what it’s like to be out of the Ivory Tower and into the rough-and-tumble world of business!!!!
